About Our Software

Yes. Every license sold on ParagonSoftwares.com is a genuine, pre-owned perpetual license sourced from legitimate surplus channels. We do not sell cracked, duplicated, or counterfeit software under any circumstances. All keys are tested before delivery.
Yes. The resale of pre-owned software licenses is legal under the first-sale doctrine (17 U.S.C. § 109), which gives the owner of a legitimately purchased software copy the right to resell it. This principle has been upheld in US courts and is the legal foundation of the secondary software market.
A perpetual license is a one-time purchase that gives you the right to use that version of the software indefinitely — with no subscription fees or renewal costs. Unlike QuickBooks Online which charges a monthly fee, QuickBooks Desktop perpetual licenses are yours to keep and use for as long as you need that version.
We carry QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier, and Enterprise across multiple years. Available versions are listed on our Shop page. Inventory changes regularly, so if you're looking for a specific version and don't see it, contact us and we'll let you know when it becomes available.
  • QuickBooks Pro — best for small businesses with basic accounting needs. Supports up to 3 simultaneous users.
  • QuickBooks Premier — includes industry-specific features (retail, nonprofit, manufacturing, etc.). Supports up to 5 users.
  • QuickBooks Enterprise — designed for larger businesses needing advanced inventory, reporting, and up to 30 users.
Each license is valid for the number of installations specified in the product listing. Standard single-user licenses may only be installed on one computer at a time. Multi-user licenses allow simultaneous access from multiple machines on the same network. Please check the product description before purchasing.
Ordering

Placing an Order

Browse our Shop, select the product you need, and click Add to Cart. Proceed to checkout, enter your email address and payment details, and confirm your order. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after payment is processed.
We accept all major credit and debit cards. All payments are processed through a secure, encrypted payment gateway. We do not store your card information on our servers.
You may request a cancellation before your license key has been delivered. Once the license key has been sent to your email, the order is considered fulfilled and cannot be cancelled. To request a cancellation, contact us immediately at support@paragonsoftwares.com with your order number.
Delivery

Getting Your License

Your license key and download instructions are delivered by email to the address you provided at checkout. There is no physical shipping. Make sure to check your spam folder if you do not see the email in your inbox.
Standard delivery time is 2 to 4 hours after payment confirmation. Orders placed during business hours are typically processed faster. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays may take slightly longer, but we always aim to deliver within 24 hours maximum.
Please follow these steps before contacting us:
  • Check your spam or junk mail folder
  • Search your inbox for emails from support@paragonsoftwares.com
  • Verify that the email address used at checkout is correct
If you still haven't received your license, email us at support@paragonsoftwares.com with your order number and we'll resolve it right away.
Installation & Activation

Getting Set Up

Your delivery email includes a download link for the installer and a step-by-step activation guide. In general: download and run the installer, enter your license key and product number when prompted, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation. Contact our support team if you run into any issues.
First, make sure you are entering the key exactly as shown in your delivery email, with no extra spaces. Also confirm you are installing the correct version and year of the software the key was issued for. If the key still does not work, contact us at support@paragonsoftwares.com with your order number and a screenshot of the error — we will exchange the key at no charge.
Yes. QuickBooks Desktop is a locally installed application and works fully offline. An internet connection is only required for initial activation and for optional features like bank feeds and payroll services. This is one of the main advantages over QuickBooks Online, which requires a constant internet connection.
Compatibility depends on the QuickBooks Desktop version you purchase. As a general guide: newer versions (2022 and later) support Windows 10 and Windows 11. Older versions may not be fully compatible with Windows 11. We recommend checking the product listing for specific system requirements before purchasing.
Refunds & Exchanges

Our Exchange Policy

We do not offer cash refunds due to the digital nature of our products. All sales are final. However, if the license key you received does not work as described, you are eligible for a free product exchange within 7 days of purchase. See our full Refund & Exchange Policy for details.
You may request an exchange if:
  • The license key does not activate on the correct software version
  • The key was already used and non-functional at the time of delivery
  • You received the wrong product compared to your order
  • Your license was not delivered within 4 hours of confirmed payment
Exchanges are not available for change of mind or incompatibility with unsupported systems.
Email us at support@paragonsoftwares.com within 7 days of your purchase. Include your order number, email address used at checkout, a description of the issue, and a screenshot of any error message. We aim to respond within 24 hours on business days.
